Sorry I haven’t written in a week! I took a little break from the blog because I realized I was spending hours in front of the computer. One of the things you’ll quickly learn about me is . . . I’m a perfectionist. I really have to keep telling myself, “Keep it short, Tammy!” When I start writing, I want to spill every tiny detail, and I end up working on my blog for hours. I was getting burnt out! So, I’m going to try to keep my posts a bit shorter from now on, but if you want more detail or have any questions, please feel free to ask!
One of my favorite items to shop for during the wedding planning process was my wedding day jewelry. I really wanted crystal jewelry to complement all the crystals in my dress. It was very tricky to find something that was a perfect fit . . . everything seemed to be either cheap and junky looking or insanely expensive.
Until I learned about Tejani jewelry on The Knot. The necklace and earrings that I ordered weren’t inexpensive, but they weren’t nearly as costly as some of the diamond jewelry that I was looking at. I think Tejani makes jewelry that screams “bride.” In my opinion, a bride should treat herself to something that will be a keepsake, but not something that will break the bank.
The jewelry is really beautiful, very unique, and I felt special wearing it. Even our Pastor made a comment on how gorgeous my earrings were!
The customer service was fabulous! I got an email from the owner to find out if I liked the jewelry and to make sure that it was all in pristine condition. Impressive!
Here are my sparklers . . . I can’t wait to wear them again to another wedding or special event.
Here is my mom putting on my earrings for me.
I loved how the earrings would swing with my every movement.
They were very lightweight, too! If you’re looking for your special bridal duds, or even a gift for someone special, Tejani’s jewelry is stunning. A great value for something that will last a lifetime!
And here’s a tip for brides: try your jewelry on with your dress. At every bridal boutique where I shopped for jewelry, people who had not seen my dress told me to wear just earrings or just a necklace, not both. I really felt that my dress called for both earrings and a necklace, and when I tried everything on, I think I was right! Don’t worry about following the latest trend or doing what others think you should do . . . do what’s right for you, what fits your personal style, and what you think looks best!
As you plan your wedding, there will probably be lots of people who want to tell you what to do, but in the end, you’ll feel best if you graciously thank them for their advice AND listen to your own heart!
